Sem is a fabulous teacher! During my many years as one of
her students, I had learned various dances from classical (Bhartha Natyam),
Punjabi Bhangra as well as other folk Indian folk dances. Sem is someone who
highly encourages and supports her students and makes them feel like they are a
part of her cultural roots. Sem also offers many wonderful opportunities in
putting her students in the spotlight, allowing them to showcase their talents,
as I have performed at various events around the city. My daughter who is now
13yrs old became a student of Sem’s at age 7 and has also participated in
